WEBKINZ by Ganz Are On Their Way to Beacon's Glow Collectibles

We are thrilled about the getting the opportunity to offer WEBKINZ by Ganz - one of this season's hottest top toys for 2006 for both children and adults alike.

WEBKINZ are a collection of cute, cuddly pets. Each carries a secret code that unlocks a virtual world of fun and adventure at www.webkinz.com. This site is a safe and secure website for kids, and adults alike. As Ganz states: "Webkinz World is the place where a plush Webkinz pet comes to life! In Webkinz World, one can care for their virtual pet, answer trivia, and play the best kids games on the net. "

At a high level, here is how it works. Children (or their parents or grandparents) purchase a Webkinz plush toy animal. Then, using a secret code that comes with their new plush animal, they ‘adopt’ the cuddly critter online at the Webkinz website. Once the toy has been ‘adopted’, owners can create virtual rooms on the Webkinz website, find friends online, interact with each other, and converse. While online, owners can earn additional virtual accouterments for their rooms and by using ‘kinzcash’. Everything is available for sale, from wallpaper to virtual food for one's pet with kinzcash.

Webkinz teaches several important skills including: responsibility, money, wellness, nutrition, computer skills, problem solving, following directions, testing knowledge, and more.
Educational questions cover the arts, science, math, social studies, health, language, science, animals, and sports. All questions are based on the individuals age ranging from 5 to 13+.

Beacon's Glow Collectibles will initially be offering 32 different WEBKINZ plush pets. Also, we will be offering purses and backpacks to carry WEBKINZ pets in.
