Madame Alexander Cissette's 50th Anniversary

Did you know that Madame Alexander's 10-inch Cissette dolls turns 50 this year? She was first introduced in 1957 as a companion doll to 21-inch Cissy.

Beacon's Glow Collectibles was quite excited today to receive the first ever "Boutique Shadow Cissette Collection". These very special Cissette dolls are modeled exactly after their 21-inch Cissy Boutique dolls from the past. (As many of you already know, this year's new collection honors the famous Cissy faces that have graced the covers of past Madame Alexander catalogs.)

Each and every Cissette from the "Boutique Shadow Collection" is a stunning and detailed replica of haute couture fashions created for Cissy originally. Each doll comes with two interchangeable wigs and fashion accessories to change each doll's look.

We received all 4 of these dolls today:

1. Heiress Elegance Shadow Cissette (from the 2006 Madame Alexander Cissy Collection, and a limited edition of 300) In fact, we still have a couple of the 21" Heiress Elegance Cissy dolls in stock. Just perform a search on our site for "heiress elegance" and you can view both dolls.
2. Closet Full of Couture Shadow Cissette (a Cissy Cover Girl in 2005, and a limited edition of 300)
3. Opulent Shimmer Shadow Cissette (a Cissy Cover Girl in 2004, and a limited edition of only 100)
4. Cissy Boutique Shadow Cissette (a Cissy Cover Girl in 2003, and a limited edition of only 300)

If you've had the opportunity to purchase the larger 21" Cissy dolls in the past, these dolls would make an excellent companion doll. But, if not, these Cissette haute couture fashion dolls are an excellent addition to any doll collection.
